Reports: Rose 'happy' over Man United and Chelsea interest

The club based in North London has been inactive whole summer in terms of buying, and is trying to retain its squad from last season.

"Manchester City have the best team on paper - it took a bit of an adjustment for Pep Guardiola but City are my favourites", Hargreaves told PremierLeague.com.

United boss Jose Mourinho continues to assess his options, given the club's frustrated pursuits of Inter Milan's Ivan Perisic and Real Madrid's Gareth Bale.

For the second day running, Tottenham fans are waking up to news that left-back Danny Rose is a wanted man.

The Independent says United see Rose as a potential solution to their search for a wide player in the transfer market.

Mauricio Pochettino had to cope without Rose from January onwards last season but he will be hoping Spurs' dynamic, powerful full back will be in his team for many years to come.

Tottenham have reportedly been put on red alert over their England full back Danny Rose.

The Italian has admitted a deal for Brazilian Sandro is looking increasingly unlikely with Juventus refusing to sell their £60million-rated defender.

United would benefit from another left-back, as they've been utilising Daley Blind and Matteo Darmian in the position during pre-season with Luke Shaw absent.

They have held talks with the French midfielder, who failed to adapt to his first season at the Lane, and are keen to take him on loan.

The 27-year-old was out injured until now, which is why Tottenham didn't get many enquiries for the player.

And now the Evening Standard claims that Rose "has been wondering whether he might one day benefit from a change of scene" and is "happy" to be linked with Tottenham's Premier League rivals.
