Moto X4 leaks: New Android attack on the midrange

Having said that, it will be quite interesting to see at what price will the company launch this particular smartphone in China. Phones tend to leak months to weeks before their release.

Motorola's upcoming Moto X4 has surfaced online once again, this time through Brazil's homologation agency Anatel and tech site Tudocelular. On Friday, Android Authority shared the first high-resolution images of the unannounced Moto X4 as well as an exhaustive list of features and specifications that its sources uncovered. By the looks of it, the phone's size is somewhere around 6.3 inches in terms of height and 3.15 inches in terms of width - this effectively supports the phone's rumored 5.2-inch display. The front camera is also capable of recording 4K (2560 x1440) videos @30fps (frames per second) or full-HD content @60fps.

What really makes you pity the new Moto X is its specs: It's reportedly saddled with a midrange Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor, which while fine for general tasks, won't take you very far if you want the fastest. Folks in Europe, North America, and Latin America are expected to get 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage with their Moto X4, while the Asia Pacific region will get 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

Moto X4 will feature metal and 3D glass smart dual rear cameras (12MP + 8MP) with dual LED flash placed above the two lenses. If you wondering about the fingerprint scanner, it will be placed at the front.

On the back, the Moto X4 has a contoured design on its glass back and based on the renders, it should shimmer rather nicely when held in the light.

Motorola's Moto X4 would run on a 3000mAh battery, which supports Turbo Charge. The X4 will be powered by a 3,000 mAh non-removable battery with TurboCharging and it will also be IP68-certified, meaning the phone will be able to withstand dust and water in moderate quantities.

Thankfully, though, these came alongside full spec details.
