Much has changed since then, but some things remain constant, like the amount of leaks and rumours that emerge online ahead of an iPhone launch. Cowen and Company reissued a "neutral" rating on shares of Apple in a research note on Friday, April 14th. Canaccord Genuity reiterated a buy rating and issued a $180.00 price objective on shares of Apple in a report on Thursday, August 3rd. Twelve analysts have rated the stock with a hold rating, forty-two have given a buy rating and one has given a strong buy rating to the stock. The stock's 50 day moving average price is $149.92 and its 200 day moving average price is $144.27.

Apple announced that its Board of Directors has initiated a stock buyback plan on Tuesday, May 2nd that allows the company to repurchase $50.00 billion in outstanding shares. This repurchase authorization permits the iPhone maker to buy up to 6.5% of its stock through open market purchases.

I cannot wait to see what happens with this technology during the next 12 months. On its left and right sides, there will be functional keys. The ex-dividend date is Thursday, August 10th.
