How to watch a live stream of Apple's big iPhone event

The tech giant Apple is getting ready to present the company's newest line of iPhones.

The event will take place at the new Steve Jobs Theater inside Apple's headquarters, nicknamed the "Spaceship" or "Fruit Loop". Additionally there is a also a probability of LTE support which will also be offered, given that a signal meter and new complications are available on the Watch, and this would make the device fully independent from the iPhone.

The event is scheduled to start at 10am PDT/1pm EDT/6pm BST, and as always it will be streamed live so you can tune in at home or (maybe) work.

It is just hours away from the launch of the Apple's latest iPhone launch. However, the rear camera will likely remain at 12MP on both, though the Plus series will continue to come with the dual rear camera. iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus won't be getting an OLED, bezel-less display either unlike the special edition iPhone.

If you are viewing on a Windows PC, you will need Microsoft Edge running on Windows 10. True to its secretive ways, Apple hasn't confirmed what it will be announcing, though a financial forecast issued last month telegraphed something significant in the pipeline. Seems like Apple will be ditching the "s" badge this time around.

Apple has supposedly been working on an updated model of the existing iPhone 7 and 7 Plus - rumored to be called the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, and both could be introduced this morning. Another feature mentioned in the leak was "Portrait Lighting" that would supposedly allow the phone to shoot 4K video at 60 frames per second.

"Now, you can go for a run with just your watch", said Jeff Williams, Apple's chief operating officer and in charge of Watch development.

The next iPhone is expected to be announced later on Tuesday amid a frenzy of interest after details were allegedly leaked ahead of the event. Of a trio of new iPhones, the iPhone X is the most advanced.

Apple is expected to reveal today its much-awaited flagship phone.
