Arsenal have fallen behind Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham, says Kenny Dalglish

He told TheSetPieces on the Premier League aspirations of a man considered to be one of the finest bosses in the business: "It would be his dream to go to England one day and his favourite club would be [Manchester] United".

Liverpool, meanwhile, are aiming to improve their form in the Premier League after a stuttering start to the new season.

Manchester United are aiming to win the Premier League title this season for the first time since their final triumph under Sir Alex Ferguson in 2013.

Certainly, there is scope for United to have success if it did attack more. It ended goalless, notable for the statistic that Manchester United had just 35 per cent of the ball. It will likely mean Ander Herrera coming in to partner Nemanja Matic in what should be a steely defensive block in central midfield. One match, one result, one performance.

Not that Mourinho minded too much.

Former Liverpool striker and manager Kenny Dalglish expects Mourinho to protect his defence with a cautious approach, similar to how they played in last season's 1-1 draw on Merseyside.

Most recently that came away to City in September, when Sadio Mane's first-half red card preluded a 5-0 mauling at the Etihad Stadium. They are atop the table alongside Manchester City (they are behind their crosstown rivals on goal differential).

And Mourinho, speaking to Sky Sports, was quick to question the "process" that led to Fellaini's injury but made it clear that his emphasis was now firmly on giving other players a chance to impress.

And Klopp can cling to the fact that his side have lost just once to a top-six side directly after an international break.

"I think we are a better team [than we were]".

Jurgen Klopp used to dream of managing of Manchester United before an opportunity at Liverpool presented itself, claims Eckhard Krautzun. "But also the team give Matic and Lukaku the conditions to arrive the way they have".

United have started the season in emphatic fashion, winning six of their seven top flight matches and scoring 21 goals in the process.

At the same time a win would silence some doubters while raising belief within the stands and the squad that Manchester united are indeed back. For three. four or five years I found it difficult.
